Department of Electromigration Methods

Exploring the world of

Capillary electrophoresis and other electromigration methods, particularly in the following fields:

  • Preconcentration and preseparation procedures for analysis of samples with complex matrices
  • Theory to understand and predict the properties of separation systems, samples and matrices
  • Methodology used to reach maximum separation efficiency and sensitivity
  • Development and applications of microextraction techniques based on phase interfaces in analyses of samples with complex matrices
  • Coupling of sample treatment to CE instrumentation for direct analysis of samples with complex matrices
